Mitsubishi Aircraft Corp. today revealed the 100-seat and third member of its regional jet family should enter service in five or six years.

On 25 April, the Japanese airframer postponed entry into service of the 90-seat Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) to the third quarter of 2015.

A 70-seat version of the MRJ is expected to deliver a year later, but Mitsubishi had previously not disclosed the timeline for introducing the MRJ100X.

"We'd like MRJ100X in the market in 2017 or 2018," said Yugo Fukuhara, director of marketing for Mitsubishi Aircraft, addressing reporters at the Regional Airline Association convention.

Mitsubishi identified the timing for the stretched version of the MRJ90 after discussing options with potential airline customers, Fukuhara said.

Previously, Mitsubishi identified the target market for the MRJ 100X as European airlines with looser scope restrictions in pilot labour contracts.

In March 2011, then-International Lease Finance Corp chief executive Steven Udvar-Hazy also told an industry audience that Mitsubishi should commit to developing a 100-seater.

So far, the first two variants of the aircraft have been slow to attract orders. All Nippon Airways ordered 15 MRJs with 10 options, Trans States Holdings agreed to buy 50 MRJs with 50 options, and ANI Group Holdings signed a memorandum of understanding for five MRJs.


Mitsubishi expects to sign new deals by the end of the year to raise the total number of orders and options to more than 200, said Hitoshi Iwasa, vice president of sales and marketing for Mitsubishi Aircraft.

出来的太晚了,没有订单,没什么前途
今后看直线客机竞争压力很大啊 这个日本的他卖谁?中国有哪家航空公司会买?巴西的不用说 自己都有  老毛子 自己的超级100 再加上庞巴迪 达索,有钱的几个主看来没什么戏  日本的东西向来不便宜 印尼这流国家会买吗?
不算晚了,这是100座的,70-90座的2015年就交付了

第一次做客机能有多给力啊,只有埋头继续努力吧。

呵呵,arj已经落在ssj后面了,到时候如果又落在av国后面,不知道会有多少眼镜掉下来

只有港台
其实就是低端产品的转移扩散,A320都向中国转移了
我们的支线飞机必须完全占领本国的民机市场,同时挤占世界市场。单单一个国内市场,就是泥崩无法比的...

日本60年代就做出客机了,当时那款客机的表现还不错,现在还有非民航机构在用
日本鬼子的技术估计不赖,但价格和市场方面没看出有哪些地方能有突破的说

ARJ不算落后了,动手本来就比SSJ晚,首飞只比SSJ晚半年多,只是拿证晚了。

那款飞机要是军用就是好飞机,因为很结实,但是用民用来衡量就是彻底失败。
这个大家都没看明白呀!日本人并不在乎是不是有市场,在乎是能不在航空技术方面保持发展,说得更白一点保持军用飞机生产技术!
