Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) has negotiated with Thailand a training and education-based package to support its first-phase contract to supply four T-50TH lead-in fighter trainer aircraft to the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF).

Instead, the emphasis would be on training and education for military personnel and technicians working for Thai Aviation industries (TAI), the state-owned maintenance, repair, and overhaul specialist.
