SHANGHAI (AP) — A Chinese aircraft maker says it is ready to deliver the country's first homegrown regional airliner and is on track to complete a larger aircraft in 2018.

Officials of Comac said Wednesday the first two ARJ21 jets are ready for delivery. The plane can seat 78 to 90 passengers depending on its configuration and has a range of 3,700 kilometers (2,300 miles).
