据《印度时报》2月15日报道，这名中国女性不久前被抓，此前一直被关押在北方邦一所监狱内。其律师日前向当地司法部门提交申请，表示她需要去做医疗检查；由于在被关押的地区监狱内找不到女性医生，她需要去另一家医院检查。
报道介绍称，与这名女性一同被抓的还有另外两名中国公民，三人都是中国某公司的员工。印度警方于1月17日因发现他们在印度与尼泊尔边境“可能从事间谍活动”将其逮捕。警方称当时三人并无有效签证和护照。
印度媒体在今年1月份曾报道称三名中国公民因涉嫌“从事间谍活动与洗钱”，被印度北方邦警方逮捕。中国外交部曾对此表示“有关报道不实”，并表示中国驻印度使馆正在向印警方进一步了解情况，要求印方妥善处理。

LUCKNOW: The Allahabad High Court has permitted a Chinese woman, who along with her two countrymen was arrested for entering India illegally, to terminate her pregnancy.
The Lucknow Bench of the Court directed the Bahraich Jail Superintendent to take necessary steps to facilitate her abortion in accordance with rules and regulations.
The order was issued by Justice S N Shukla yesterday. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bahraich, had rejected the application of Yang Liu for termination of her pregnancy.
Liu, Liao Xing and Yu Dangli were arrested by SSB near Rupiyadeeh border on January 17 this year for entering India illegally.
They were taking pictures of some vital installations when they were arrested.
The Chinese nationals have been booked under various sections of the Foreigners Act and the Passport Act.

BAHRAICH: The Chinese woman Li Jui Dang, who was arrested and lodged in a UP district jail for allegedly being a spy, may be pregnant, said her counsel in court on Tuesday.
Her counsel has moved an application in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Bahraich Satya Prakash Divedi for her medical check.
In his application, the the counsel said as there is no lady doctor in the district jail, Li should be admitted to district mahila hospital.
She is among two other Chinesse nationals Lui Yang and Chen Rang who were apprehended on Rupaidiha check post located on Indo-Nepal border while entering the Indian terrirory on January 17 by Shashtra Seema Bal(SSB) without valid visa and passport.
The Chinese woman during interrogation told intelligence agencies herself to be the freind of both the Chinese nationals.
The intelligence agencies were surprised to know about Li's pregnancy. However, they suspect one of the Chinese nationals who had been apprehened along with her and has also been lodged in the same jail could be her husband.
It was reported that Li had told the intelligence agencies during her interrogation that all the Chinese, who were arrested were friends, and worked in Nepal on a project in a Chinese company, Huwaei Technologies.
