The recruits will also get aid in job-hunting or furthering their studies once they complete their service, the circular said.
The army, which started accepting online applications for the first time, will continue with the process from April to July this year. Experts will be invited to provide online
consulting services to the students to help them understand the policies in a better way, it said.
PLA started enlisting college graduates in 2001 and by the end of 2009, these graduates accounted for 1,30,000 of its total recruits.

The army has stepped up its drive to recruit more graduates, considering the complexities in operating the emerging new technologies, especially in the backdrop of increasing dependency on upgraded weapon systems and modern warfare techniques.
Another reason for the military to opt for more graduates is because most of the PLA soldiers are high school graduates.
As per China's Military Service Law passed by the NPC in 1984, every citizen over the age of 18 must serve in the military upon being requested to do so, except for disabled people.
考虑到操作新技术武器的复杂性，特别是在越来越依靠升级的武器系统和现代战争技术的背景下，军队加快招收更多的毕业生。

The Indian youth is looking for the pleasures and glamours of life only and not in disciplined and hard life which will be essential in the event of china or other neighbours decides to test its strength against Indians. There must be compulsory military training for all eligible youth to make them tough and disciplined.

India never recruit any educated young unemployees in Army. If it is done so the unemployment will reduce and the private industries will not get educated and skilled people to work for a less wages/salary.

Our aim is to increase the size and strength of the Indian army to at least 10 million. With 4 million is combat readiness at any given time.
Our aim is to increase the number of armoured divisions in the Indian army to 8 with each armoured division having 2500 tanks, 40000 self propelled artillery, 20000 trucks, jeeps and 30000 motorcycles, 1000 bridge-layers and engineer platoons. Each armoured division will have its own air-fleet consisting of Light combat aircraft,attack helicopters and transports.
The youth of India will be trained from a very young age to be technically qualified and very fit soldiers who can communicate well.
Indian armed forces will also be allowed to maintain roads and highways and infrastructure in our country extract toll from civilians using these.
This will increase the monetary cash flow to bring about a massive modernization of our army and air-force.
Sniper schools, marines, special forces and paratroops will also be given top priority.
We NATIONAL DEMOCRATS believe in massively increasing the combat strength of our NATION's armed forces since these will play a decisive role in the securing our place under the sun which is the ENTIRE INDIAN SUBCONTINENT in the near future.
