俄新网RUSNEWS.CN莫斯科9月21日电 俄罗斯国防部航天部队发言人阿列克谢·佐洛图欣中校向俄新社表示，为俄罗斯国防部发射的“质子-M”号运载火箭21日成功从拜科努尔航天发射场发射。

他说：“莫斯科时间2011年9月21日星期三2点47分，从拜科努尔航天发射场第81号平台第24号发射装置成功发射‘质子-M’号运载火箭，它携带着供给俄罗斯国防部的航天器。”

他补充说：“航天器将在预定时间——莫斯科时间9月21日11点48分与‘微风-M’号助推器脱离。”

质子算是复飞了。

关于Garpun：

Garpun (Russian: Гарпун, meaning Harpoon), GRAU index 14F136, is a new Russian Military communications satellite for operative relaying of large volumes of digital information between optical and radio survelliance satellites moving in low orbits and a ground receiving stations in real time. Garpun will replace older Potok (Geyzer) satellites which were a part of the Global Space Command and Relay System.

The legacy Potok satellites worked in GEO positions 80 degrees E and 13.5 degrees W and used C band to transmit data.

Since 1985, ITUR registered two C bands 3.40-4.80 GHz and 5.00-7.075 GHz for POTOK positions, which have never been used by USSR/Russia till the present day. Expectedly, the Garpun will occupy these bands.

This will become the first Proton-M/Briz-M stack launch after unsuccessful Express-AM4 launch in August.
