"We believe that there should be no less than 20 cars, which confirms the economic viability of the project. Then to the starting order can be attached and other customers, including commercial," - said Fedorov. "We all understand that the only launch customer for the resumption of production of these machines may be the Ministry of Defence (MoD) - Russia," said the head of the KLA.

He noted that in Russia this year will take the state armament program for 2011-2020 years. "We hope and expect that it will set the project AN-124, after which, strictly speaking, this process will go," - said president of the KLA. According to him, "now the most important thing - start your order and, accordingly, provide funding.

Fedorov said that the program of the restoration of the An-124 is planned to implement, together with Ukraine. "This cooperation was laid during the Soviet period, we plan to continue, including in deciding on the order of these vehicles the Defense Ministry", - he said. "We will restore and maximize production in Ulyanovsk, with the participation in co-operation and an aircraft factory in Kiev", - said Fedorov.
