2/14/2008 - A B-2 Spirit stealth bomber sits at its parking spot on display Feb. 12 at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. The B-2 on display is one of four bombers currently deployed to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, as part of U.S. Pacific Command’s continuous bomber presence. The aircraft and approximately 280 aircrew and support personnel from the 509th Bomb Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., have been in theater since Oct. 5. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Shane A. 2/13/2008 - During a clear day, Senior Airman Robert Palalaya, 15th Security Forces Squadron stands guard at the entry control point for the B-2 Spirit during a media event. The 393rd Expeditionary Bomb Squadron, stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., is currently wrapping up it's deployment as a continuous bomber presence at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. The B-2's low observability provides greater freedom of maneuver whle high altitiude flight increases its range and provides a better field of view for the aircraft's sensors.
