The Syrian Army and Armed Forces units continued carrying out counter-terrorism operations across the country on Monday, killing and injuring members of ISIL and other terrorist organizations in several areas.
Aleppo
The Syrian army controlled Ain Hanash town in the province's eastern countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorist groups, according to Al-Manar reporter.
An army unit targeted gatherings for ISIL in Tal Faouri village in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province on Sunday night, military source told SANA.
Another army unit carried out intensive strikes that targeted the terrorist organizations in the neighborhoods of al-Rashedeen 4, al-Rashedeen 5, and Salah Eddin in Aleppo city, killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying their weaponry.
The terrorist organizations admitted on their social media pages the death of a number of terrorists including terrorist Abdul Qader Ahmad al-Khateeb
Deir Ezzor
An Army and Armed Forces unit clashed with ISIL members in al-Bghailiye village in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor province, and destroyed a vehicle rigged with explosives deployed by ISIL before it reached a military position in al-Ruwad hill in the village.
A military source told SANA that another unit killed a number of terrorists from ISIL, injured others, and destroyed their weapons and munitions during clashes in al-Rushdiye neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city.
Daraa
A military source told SANA that Army and Armed Forces units continue to advance on all directions in Sheikh Miskeen city, establishing control over road between Sheikh Miskeen and Ibta’a and the road leading to Nawa in Daraa countryside.
Al-Manar TV channel mentioned that the Syrian army controlled 90% of the city as the terrorists' ranks collapsed in the area.
