Beijing's reassurance has come as a major boost for Islamabad that has felt increasingly isolated after the US raid to take out Osama bin Laden in Pakistan's northwestern town of Abbottabad earlier this month.

Pakistan has been a liability to all his friends in past. Pour in millions and its engulfed by its politicians and others. Military is deep in drugs smuggling. China on other hand always stabs ib back.. so if Pak is under the impression of china bhai ..wait till china usurps parts of pakistan in kashmir and north.. Both are in for trouble..all we do is wait till pakis turn against chinese once they start paying money, pakis will want more n more of it..See USA now.. We keep our borders intact.They will destroy each other..sooner or later..

INDIA will not achieve it's objective untill all INDIANS are PATRIOTIC. Every school, College, Insititution should show patriotizm in every corner of our country from Assam, Orissa, West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh etc. Apart from this our country was raped by POLITICAL CORRUPTION which is weakning our economy to over take China & Japan. All our borders are week, political corruption, no patriotism, lack of infrastructure, no funds from abroad.

Just FYI (Something that needs to be encouraged more and more), there are grassroots programs across India, and at more importantly school level, which spans states and towns to bring school level citizens from one area in contact with another. If you have a child in school or know somebody who's kid is in school, the kid can either approach school admins or ask parents to approach school admins to select another school from different state (from a different region of India) as "brother" or "sister" school, and have both groups of budding citizens communicate at individual levels to express and encourage their patriotism and discuss cultural issues. This has already been initiated awhile ago and is well in progress anyway, and will be easy to find more info from non-profit Indian Nationalistic Organizations...

I wish India should have stronger ties with all the enemy countries of Pakistan like ISRAEL, DENMARK, SWEDEN, FRANCE, ITALY, RUSSIA, GERMANY etc but, the Gulf Countries are supporting in Billions and Billions of $ to PORKISTAN because No Muslim Higher Minister Visits them to show the real face of Porkistani Terrorist Country. Since, the gulf leaders are based on Religion but, not on Facts. -- INDIA need to play a political role in Balochistan, NWFP & SINDH by supporting them to fight for freedom from Porkistan, we need to support them by Weapons and Money to achieve our peaceful Objective. Also make stand by stand Afghan govt & taleban to negotiate but, Muslim Leader is must to gain the confidence.

Pakistan is really lucky if they loose the US they have China. They will not loose China because the strategy is to show the US that Pakistan will have the money and not fight the terroist. The armament is just to keep the Pakistanis confident against any attack on it's territory. Even if it is cheap. Anyway all this time China did not help Pakistan to show up economically, in the range of a developing country, WHY ? Lets say Pakistan can be strong economically, if they wade away the terrorism, Pakistan with India could have done very well economically,if they did not take India all the time to be their enemy. Must turn the page over India. Well now they are tied up with China and they can't turn the page. Every time they tried someone would jeopardize it. So there is someone who wants that Pakistan will not be friendly with India.I have many Pakistanis friends and they tell me often we as the people of Pakistan we have nothing against the Indian people. So who is to be blamed for all these ill fate between our two and one country.

China had also agreed to provide Pakistan 50 new JF-17 Thunder multi-role fighter planes for its air force. The Block-58 planes would be produced in Pakistan under a co-production agreement. It is likely that the production of the planes would start in June next year and till then China will complete the supply of 50 JF-17 planes for which an agreement was signed earlier. The two countries are also in the process of discussing the supply of J-20 Stealth and Xiaolong/FC-1 multi-purpose light fighter aircraft to Pakistan. They are discussing the mode of payment and the number of planes to be provided to Pakistan, the sources said. The two countries have also agreed to step up work on Pakistan�s satellite currently being built in China, which would be launched into orbit on August 14. The satellite will supply multifarious data to Pakistan, the sources added. Prime Minister Gilani has termed Pakistan-China relations and friendship as �unique�. Talking to the accompanying journalists after his talks with the Chinese premier, he said that China, besides acknowledging the contribution and sacrifices of Pakistan in the war against terrorism, had supported the country�s cause at the international level.

Actually, JF-17 and FC-1 are the same aircraft :-) I suppose when the Chinese guy at the meeting said to the Pak generals: "For you... I give you 50 JF-17... yes yes 50 FC-1... cheap price... you good friend...", the Pakistani generals must have jumped in joy thinking they were getting 50 JF-17s *AND* 50 FC-1s! Sad they did not understand Chin-lingo and Chinese did not understand Urdu... As for J-20, the farthest it has travelled is from the hanger to the runway and back to the hanger on a tractor engine... You see, a plane needs an actual *aircraft* engine to fly - And China has yet to produce this for the J-20. But I suppose Pakistan can use it to haul jute from the farm to the factories... As for dealing with JF-17 or FC-1 (Whichever name it is called depending on whether you are from Rawalpindi or Islamabad), a blind pilot in a Tejas with his hands tied can hit a foot pedal and destroy the JF-17 before it reaches 50 meters off the runway from Peshawar - You see, the Tejas radar has a range of 300km while JF-17s "Grifo S7" radar barely reaches 100km (And it is not even installed as of now)

There is nothing new or fresh in this news, TOI is just exploiting the emotions of readers, so chill. If China wants to befriend Pak, good for them, but if they want to involve in India's affairs teach a lesson. Let RAW work properly and devise plan B in AP and NWF. China has lots of public anger and overdue for civil revolution, it is not too far.

You can read it as "China hides behind Pakistan" where Pakistan will do the dirty work by sending Pakistani mercenaries for terror attacks to countries not friendly with China. The mercenaries may be paid in cash or in kind - such as blessing them with 64 virgins in heaven after death.

To counter a country like Pak India dont need friends and $ aide. Talking of friends yeah we know how Russia blocked USA in 1971 war, Israel supplied laser guided bombs and artillery to India in Kargil war. At least someone helps us without asking for something in conflict when we were circled by communist and terrorist states.

China is forcing themself to be friend with Pakistan to irreate USA but at he end of the day when the aid is cut to Pakistan. Pakistan alone can't survive on China. After Libya next will be China.

INDIA will not achieve it's objective untill all INDIANS are PATRIOTIC. Every school, College, Insititution should show patriotizm in every corner of our country from Assam, Orissa, West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh etc. Apart from this our country was raped by POLITICAL CORRUPTION which is weakning our economy to over take China & Japan. Just FYI (Something that needs to be encouraged more and more), there are grassroots programs across India, and at more importantly school level, which spans states and towns to bring school level citizens from one area in contact with another. If you have a child in school or know somebody who's kid is in school, the kid can either approach school admins or ask parents to approach school admins to select another school from different state (from a different region of India) as "brother" or "sister" school, and have both groups of budding citizens communicate at individual levels to express and encourage their patriotism and discuss cultural issues. This has already been initiated awhile ago and is well in progress anyway, and will be easy to find more info from non-profit Indian Nationalistic Organizations...

Since, the gulf leaders are based on Religion but, not on Facts. -- INDIA need to play a political role in Balochistan, NWFP & SINDH by supporting them to fight for freedom from Porkistan, we need to support them by Weapons and Money to achieve our peaceful Objective. Also make stand by stand Afghan govt & taleban to negotiate but, Muslim Leader is must to gain the confidence.

Pakistan is really lucky if they loose the US they have China. They will not loose China because the strategy is to show the US that Pakistan will have the money and not fight the terroist. The armament is just to keep the Pakistanis confident against any attack on it's territory. Even if it is cheap. Anyway all this time China did not help Pakistan to show up economically, in the range of a developing country, WHY ? Lets say Pakistan can be strong economically, if they wade away the terrorism, Pakistan with India could have done very well economically,if they did not take India all the time to be their enemy. Must turn the page over India. Well now they are tied up with China and they can't turn the page. Every time they tried someone would jeopardize it. So there is someone who wants that Pakistan will not be friendly with India.I have many Pakistanis friends and they tell me often we as the people of Pakistan we have nothing against the Indian people. So who is to be blamed for all these ill fate between our two and one country.

China had also agreed to provide Pakistan 50 new JF-17 Thunder multi-role fighter planes for its air force. The Block-58 planes would be produced in Pakistan under a co-production agreement. It is likely that the production of the planes would start in June next year and till then China will complete the supply of 50 JF-17 planes for which an agreement was signed earlier. The two countries are also in the process of discussing the supply of J-20 Stealth and Xiaolong/FC-1 multi-purpose light fighter aircraft to Pakistan. They are discussing the mode of payment and the number of planes to be provided to Pakistan, the sources said. The two countries have also agreed to step up work on Pakistan�s satellite currently being built in China, which would be launched into orbit on August 14. The satellite will supply multifarious data to Pakistan, the sources added. Prime Minister Gilani has termed Pakistan-China relations and friendship as �unique�. Talking to the accompanying journalists after his talks with the Chinese premier, he said that China, besides acknowledging the contribution and sacrifices of Pakistan in the war against terrorism, had supported the country�s cause at the international level.

Actually, JF-17 and FC-1 are the same aircraft :-) I suppose when the Chinese guy at the meeting said to the Pak generals: "For you... I give you 50 JF-17... yes yes 50 FC-1... cheap price... you good friend...", the Pakistani generals must have jumped in joy thinking they were getting 50 JF-17s *AND* 50 FC-1s! Sad they did not understand Chin-lingo and Chinese did not understand Urdu... As for J-20, the farthest it has travelled is from the hanger to the runway and back to the hanger on a tractor engine... You see, a plane needs an actual *aircraft* engine to fly - And China has yet to produce this for the J-20. But I suppose Pakistan can use it to haul jute from the farm to the factories... As for dealing with JF-17 or FC-1 (Whichever name it is called depending on whether you are from Rawalpindi or Islamabad), a blind pilot in a Tejas with his hands tied can hit a foot pedal and destroy the JF-17 before it reaches 50 meters off the runway from Peshawar - You see, the Tejas radar has a range of 300km while JF-17s "Grifo S7" radar barely reaches 100km (And it is not even installed as of now)

There is nothing new or fresh in this news, TOI is just exploiting the emotions of readers, so chill. If China wants to befriend Pak, good for them, but if they want to involve in India's affairs teach a lesson. Let RAW work properly and devise plan B in AP and NWF. China has lots of public anger and overdue for civil revolution, it is not too far.

To counter a country like Pak India dont need friends and $ aide. Talking of friends yeah we know how Russia blocked USA in 1971 war, Israel supplied laser guided bombs and artillery to India in Kargil war. At least someone helps us without asking for something in conflict when we were circled by communist and terrorist states.
