参考消息5.10日第6版有这个事，说是05年6月28日，这个海军上尉、金质勋章的获得者率领4名海豹追击一个塔利班指挥管，不幸遭100多名塔武装人员伏击，这个上尉和两名海豹挂了，还有16名前来营救的8名海豹和8名陆军夜行者的队员也杯具了（乘坐的直升灰机被火箭弹给..）
