<br /><br />上周Ad Astra Rocket Company在德克萨斯测试了世界上功率最大的等离子体火箭引擎VASIMR VX-200.测试功率达到200千瓦标准.这是VASIMR的缩小原型的首次全功率展示.
该公司刚和NASA签订合约,2013年在国际空间站上测试200千瓦VASIMR引擎.但是Ad Astra并不满足于此,他们还有制造大型VASIMR引擎的计划,比如高速飞往火星的计划.一台10到20兆瓦的VASIMR引擎可以在39天内把人送 到火星,而一般火箭则需要六个月以上.

期待早日登陆火星
好象是可以使飞船达到50公里每秒的速度吧,比现在的快4倍,差不多40多天就能到,不过功率太小了,只能用到卫星上,安装到飞船上,那得需要多长时间才能加速完毕,也许到了火星轨道还没加速到最大速度
电能如何提供是个问题

这种功率的东西,肯定是用核动力的.
用来当月球拖船,从LEO拖到月球,再回LEO重复使用
核反应堆装一次料用上几年应该没问题,登月火箭就只需要打LEO了
这东东推力太小吧
