原帖的意思是不管这东西现在到底完成了没有，它列出的都是将来确定会实现的东西，只看它比较靠谱的那些宣称的能力。

On a serious note they use the Leo 1 as some sort of 2nd line support but the MBT is something called the C1 Ariete. On the face of it, it seems like a reasonably decent vehicle of which they have 200+
Oto Melara were involved in its development and construction (for the most part) and they are a good company. I have seen some of their work and it is quite good. You know I do believe its been a while since there was a half passable tank discussion round here, but if a thread for that is started it will have to be comprehensive, no half baked missing a few tanks here and a few tanks there lazy jobs

A) the M829A3 (USA) is often estimated to penetrate 900mm RHAe it is 830mm long has a 31/1 length/diameter ratio and weighs about 8kg w/o the sabot and travels 1555m/s. .5m*V^2= Ke(9,672,100joules)/900= 10746joules per mm of RHAe
B) The 3BM42 (End of Cold War Soviet) has published penetration data of 640mm RHAe. It is 560mm long has a 16/1 length diameter ratio and travels 1750m/s and weighs 4.5kg (IIRC) with out the sabot .5m*V^2=Ke(6,890,625 joules)/640= 10766 joules per mm of RHAe.
C) DM 63 (Germany) has estimated penetration of 750-850mm of RHAe weighs 6.35kg w/o the sabot and travels 1750m/s (L55) it is 735mm long and has a 30/1 length/diameter ratio. .5m*V^2=Ke (9,723,437.5 joules)/850= 11439 joules per mm of RHAe.
The Chinese round is between 560-600mm long and uses about the same length to diameter ratio as the 3BM42 but is probably a bit heavier say 5.5 kg (to reflect modern technology and metallurgy) w/o sabot and travels at 1760m/s .5m*V^2=Ke(8,518,400)/850= 10,021 joules per mm of RHAe.

这样好，我们的海军什么都不是，所以我们要加大投入来应对强大印度海军的威胁啊;P
