BEIJING: As India and Japanwarmed up on Tuesday to take bilateral relations to a higher plane, a CommunistParty-run newspaper cautioned New Delhi against "petty burglars" amongJapanese politicians, out to target Sino-Indian ties. The warning in thePeople's Daily, which largely reflects the ruling party's views, coincided withPrime Minister Manmohan Singh's visit to Tokyoduring which the two sides decided to enhance defence cooperation.
