主要还是培养士兵的纪律，没有纪律的军队是打不了仗的。全金属外壳上就可以看出来，美军对纪律的要求不会太低。

Transcript:How to Make a Military Bed With Hospital Corners

My name is Army Sgt. Shane Medders, and I am stationed in Fort Knox Kentucky as a drill sergeant. For About.com, today we will be showing you how to make a military rack the way we do in the army.
Why Make a Military Bed?

Making a military rack is used mainly for uniformity purposes. To make sure that everyone is in-line together, all the same, and for purposes of cleanliness. The army is renowned for their rack making. They are famous for the hospital corners, and today we will show you how to do that step by step.
Make Hospital Corners

The first step is to take one sheet and place it on the rack so that it is flat from side to side. You want to line up the edge of the sheet with the bottom end of the mattress. Make sure the overhang on each side is equal. Next you want to kneel down by the head end of the mattress and you want to tuck the sheet up under so that it is flush.

Next you want to go to one side, at the head end of the mattress, and you want to start doing the forty-five degree corner. You do that by lifting the bottom edge of the sheet, pulling it back, so as to have the over-hand pulled tightly and then tucked up underneath the rack. Next you will fold the excess hanging down over, forming the forty-five degree angle. You will place your hand so as to make it smooth, and then you will tuck the excess up underneath the rack. You always want to make sure you smooth out the sheets. You continue tucking the excess part of the sheet all the way down to the foot end of the rack. Next you will go to the other side and proceeded in the same manner as you did the first time.
Add the Top Sheet to the Military Rack

Next you want to take the second sheet and you want to place it on the rack the same as the first time. This time you want to align the sheet with the head-end of the mattress, making sure that the overhang is equal on both sides.
Add the Blanket to the Military Bed

Next step is to take the first green blanket and place it on the rack. Keep in mind that it has US stamped on it for United States. This should be readable when standing at the foot end of the mattress. Place the blanket on the rack as the same way you would the sheet, making sure there is equal overhang on both sides of the rack. You want to align the top of the blanket approximately twelve inches from the head end of the mattress.
Fold Hospital Corners With the Blanket

Next you will start tucking the blanket in along with the sheet. Making sure everything is smooth. Again the forty-five degree corner is attained by folding the excess blanket, tucking it smooth up underneath, placing your hand there, and then bringing the excess part of the blanket all the way down, and it will form the forty five degrees. You will smooth it out with your hand, and then you will just tuck the excess blanket and sheet around the mattress. Continue to use your hands to smooth out the blanket all across the mattress. Next you will go to the other side of the rack and you will do the hospital corners in the same manner as you did on the previous side.
Add the Pillow to the Military Bed

The next step is to place the pillow on the rack. Make sure you smooth out the pillow so it is flat. You will notice it has excess overhang of the pillow case. When you place it on there make sure to tuck it up underneath so it is not to hang freely. The next step is to take the dust cover and place it equally on both sides onto the mattress. Make sure that the single fold of the blanket is down towards the foot end of the mattress. As always make sure the overhang is equal on both sides. Adjust it as necessary.
Finish the Military Bed

The next step is to take the overhang of the dust cover and tuck t up underneath the mattress on the head end. Continue making the hospital corners as shown before. The last step is to make sure there are no wrinkles in the dust cover, in the blanket or any of the sheets, and also check your hospital corners on the foot end and head end of the mattress.

豆腐块就是战斗力。
战斗力包括三方面：1.我方士兵、指挥员的素质；2.我方的武器装备水平；3.何时、何地与何敌作战。
可塑性最高的就是士兵的素质。科学的训练可以培养、提高士兵的素质。豆腐块就是训练的一个重要环节。

美国人被子都平铺在床上

铺个床单、枕巾铺了好几分钟.....   再整理被子、毛毯不得半小时啊     战斗力只有5的渣  

视角的问题而已~

从美军常服上不能有一个褶子的说法来看，豆腐块其实是小意思。

还有《兄弟连》第一集里说的个人物品柜里不能有私人物品。

当年入伍新兵训练的时候,不管怎么努力每次内务评比吾都是班里的倒数几名,心里一直纳闷难道真不是当兵的料,可是其它的科目如队列、体能、军事、作风等吾都还不错，直到后来新兵训练快结束的时候才偶然发现，内务评比经常领先的那几位一般会提前半个钟头起床，拿小缸子装水含嘴里对着被子直接开喷，吾当时简直震精了！那可是北方的大冬天，本来被子就薄再加上室内的暖气烧得不足晚上室温一般才六七度，两个多月这几位居然一直坚持这么干，就为个内务评比第一，不怕得关节炎啊。。。

+1，不过看看15楼貌似说的是在医院。。。

兔子喜欢吃小豆腐，MD喜欢大豆腐。。各有所爱

豆腐块要会叠的话根本就不会占用多长时间。
