一个英国哥们的妈妈回信说暴乱

London seems to have calmed down now. Many other cities have now beeen attacked, Manchester, Bristol, Liverpool. Many people have now been arrested. But the courts in the uk do not seem to hand out much punsihment to these sort of 'thugs' these days. In the eyes of these young thugs, they think  it is a good thing to get a criminal record, they boast about it to friends. No doubt they will only be given a 'community order', which means they have to work in the community for so many hours instead of going to prison. Also have a 'tag ' but around their leg and say they have to stay in their house from 6pm to 8am. The police will know if they leave their house as the tag will inform them. That will not teach them anything in my view.
伦敦看起来现在平静下来了。现在其他的一些城市遭到了攻击，曼彻斯特，布里斯托尔，利物浦。很多人被捕了。但是，这年头英国的法庭看起来不准备给这些“暴徒们“判处什么严厉惩罚。在这些年轻的暴徒眼中，他们觉得有犯罪记录是一件好事情，这样他们就可以对朋友吹嘘了。毫无疑问的，他们得到的惩罚会仅仅是”社区服务“，他们会不得不在这区内工作一定的时间，而不是去监狱。同时在他们的腿上面会有一个”标签“，于是他们将不得不在，比如说，晚上六点到早上八点之间待在家里面。如果他们在规定的时间之外离家，这个”标签“会通知警方。在我看来，这种惩罚不会让这些年轻人学到任何东西。

Many of the thugs were only young, 15,16. So many people have been injured, and property damaged. In the uk at the moment and for some years 2 generations in a family have never worked, the state payout money is so good that they do not have to work to live. Despite all of this , they are very ccapapble of getting a job but they do not, but still get these payments. They all have a very bad attitude to life and other people. It is VERY frustrating for people like us who work hard and pay taxes, just to see these people have all this money and better TV's etc then we do.
这些暴徒中的很多人都很年轻，15，16岁这样子。很多人受伤了，很多财产损毁了。在英国，有些家庭父子两代人都从来没有工作过，政府给的福利非常的好，所以他们根本不需要去为了求生工作。这些人是完全有能力找到一份工作的，他们不去，可还是可以领到钱。对生活，对其他人，这些人的态度非常的不好。对我们这样的人来说，这个事实让我们非常的郁闷。我们要努力工作和交税，与此同时，他们这些人却可以得到这许多钱，而他们的电视什么的，比我们的还要好。

The country is all wrong. In fact the government is very good, in fact too good to them in my view. So what are they fighting about???
这个国家完全错了。事实上，这个政府非常好，事实上，它对这些人好的过分了，我觉得。这些人到底是在为了什么而战？

So far they have not let the staff from Apple go home early from work. Dan is working today so I will phone him when he finishes.
