most importantly, THE RECENT DRILLS HAVE BEEN CONTINUED SINCE 1970`S.

Imagine you lived in Indiana(roughly the same size as South Korea), and Michigan attacked a Indiana border city with artillery..killing citizens of your state and your government did nothing. You wouldn't be worried, you'd be angry.

I keep hearing all this talk about the tensions on the Korean peninsula. I have been living in Seoul for 4 and a half years now and I can tell you that life goes on as normal here. People are not that concerned about war here and I think have been acustomed to North Korea's provocations and threats over the last 60 years. I read this article and wonder if the person is even in Seoul while writing it. The streets are still packed with people here in Seoul. Families and couples are getting ready for the holiday. Yes, young men are concerned about war as all young Korean men have been over the last sixty years but I don't feel anymore than the generations of young men before them. I pray for North Korea to end its nuclear program and to stop provoking Seoul. At the same time I hope for the journalists at CNN portray a much broader picture of the situation here instead of making it seem like all out hell is to break loose in any minute. There are much more dangerous places in Africa and the Middle East. Life goes on as normal here in Seoul and I don't think things will change in the near future (I hope).
