“mk800”并不是国内网络谣言的唯一制造者，中国研发地效航母也不是网络世界的第一条假新闻。前几年在两岸关系紧张的时候，网上谣言横飞，甚至出现了台湾空军战机起义，海峡上空爆发激战这样的新闻。最后，这条让两岸都震惊的消息被揭穿是谣言，是江苏某网虫在“信息港”网站散布的。可笑的是，这样的消息，不少国内媒体居然不加核实就连忙转载，客观上成了谣言散布的帮凶。
