Philippines has prided itself of being the site of production of multi-tens of thousands tons commercial ships, but it could not even build a 1,000 tons ship for her Coast Guard. Malaysia, Vietnam, China, Japan, Taiwan have coast guard ships of more than 1,000 tons but Philippines has only 500+ tons coast guard ships. Remembering that the Philippine Navy had a program for ship building that was stopped, why can't the ship building be resumed even if only for coast guard purposes? Think Coast Guard also not always AFP.
菲律宾已经引以为傲的成为成千上万吨多用商船的生产场所，但是它甚至不能为它的海岸警卫队建造一艘1000吨级的船舰。马来西亚、越南、中国、日本、台湾都有1000吨级以上的海岸警卫船舰，但是菲律宾只有500吨级以上的。记得菲律宾海军有一个关于船舰建造的计划被停止了。为什么船舰建造计划不能重新开始，即使只是为了海岸防卫的目的也不行吗？可以认为海岸警卫队也不总是武装部队啊。

Filipinos are capable of building big ship as what we have in Cebu, instead of buying from outside, the government should promote building ship here in the PH as it might be cheaper compared to foreign made.
菲律宾人有能力建造像我们在宿务岛的那艘那样的大型船舰，而不用从外面买。政府应该推进在菲律宾本土建造船舰，这样也可能比国外建造的更加便宜。

我只知道菲律宾海军的船里就没有能被称为“舰”的东西.......，那艘二战时期的驱逐舰除外.....
能建啊，把n艘渔船练成多体船。
虽然菲律宾造不了船，人家是妥妥的皿煮郭嘉，菲律宾让霉爹殖民了好多年，全套copy霉帝的制度。
自打辽宁舰服役后。外媒就炒作菲律宾将要购买貌似是西班牙的航母来对抗中国。这年头，只要是中国出了什么成就，什么驴B马屌都来搞。

造船又不是什么高科技 只不过菲律宾财政状况不支持造大船
