NEW DELHI: From rocket launchers to Islander maritime patrol aircraft, wargaming software to counter-insurgency training, India is steadily stepping up military aid to Myanmar to counterbalance the deep strategic inroads made by China into that country.
During his ongoing visit to Myanmar, Army chief General Bikram Singh has held talks with President U Thein Sein, foreign minister U Wunna Maung Lwin, commander-in-chief of the defence services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, among others, to discuss measures to further bolster bilateral defence cooperation.

If China wants to get close to Burma, nothing can stop it because it is bigger than in India in every sense and the Burmese will have no alternative but to succumb to chinese pressure. Why don't the idiots in Delhi try to get close to Pakistan as China has been making inroads into Pakistan? If China wants to get close to Burma, nothing can stop it because it is bigger than in India in every sense and the Burmese will have no alternative but to succumb to chinese pressure. Why don't the idiots in Delhi try to get close to Pakistan as China has been making inroads into Pakistan? I wouldn't be surprised if Burma becomes enemy of India in future after squeezing all the help.

NEW DELHI: From rocket launchers to Islander maritime patrol aircraft, wargaming software to counter-insurgency training, India is steadily stepping up military aid to Myanmar to counterbalance the deep strategic inroads made by China into that country.
During his ongoing visit to Myanmar, Army chief General Bikram Singh has held talks with President U Thein Sein, foreign minister U Wunna Maung Lwin, commander-in-chief of the defence services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, among others, to discuss measures to further bolster bilateral defence cooperation.

India is providing rocket launchers, mortars, rifles, radars, night-vision devices, Gypsies, bailey bridges, communication and Inmarsat sets as well as road construction equipment like dozers, tippers and soil compacters to the Myanmarese armed forces.

10楼正解。。。不过也算不上什么机智，小国惯用的伎俩
印度、巴基斯坦、孟加拉国、缅甸原来都是英国的殖民地，都属于英属印度，但是缅甸的情况和前三国不同，所以后来英国撤走缅甸独立大家没什么意见。

当年缅甸确实属于英属印度，而且麦克马洪线不仅仅只在中印边界，还延伸到了缅甸。不过现在印度也就扯扯淡罢了。按照我们的看法，东北邦是黄种人土著，印度黑皮应该滚出东北邦才对。
