Carlo博士是个很有争议的澳洲知名军事装备评论员,他本身航空方面的专业基础,但他个人的一些意见风格一向饱受批评。不过今天他发表的他和同事一起做的J20技术分析文章还是相当令人侧目的,他们使用专业分析软件,尽量以数字为判断标准,而不是个人感觉为依据,虽然他极力踩F35的风格依然,但是整篇分析还是有一定实力的。

补充一下,他的基本结论是J20的设计符合中国的空防需求。如果量产时能保持目前的水平,正向RCS可以达到或者接近F22的水准,侧向RCS有些细节可以调整。
而后向RCS并非中国目前空防需求的重点,并不一定需要加强,目前至少明显好于T50,即使需要改进也完全来得及,也有潜力(相比F35)
