Contax G2 rangefinder kit. This camera is in good overall condition. There are minor wear marks on the baseplate and exterior rear door. This cam is more of a user, than a mint, never been used collecters item. Includes the following
Biogon 28mm f2.8, front and rear caps and lens case. Lens in Ex condition, unmarked and fully functional. One tiny speck inside, but definitely no mould.
Sonnar 90mm f2.8, front cap, rear cap, lens hood and lens case. Agian in Ex condition, the hood has some minor scratches, but nothing major, again a couple of specs inside, but no mould.
Contax TLA140 flash with case and ins manual, ex condition, all working well.
Contax G2 w/45mm f2 lens and ins manual. Condition of camera as above. The lens is clean and clear of any specs. Optics are A1 and all camera functions are fully operational...That is apart from the bloody intermittant LCD display! This works ..sometimes. Last week the LCD was there..now its not, by the time you get it..well it might be..SO PLEASE BID ACCORDINGLY.
I should add that regardless of the intermittant LCD fault, this camera works fine. AF is accurate with all lenses, the LCD in the VF works ALL the time, its just the two exterior LCD on the top of the camera that are intermittant.
Excellent way to get into the comprehensive G2 system. I am selling on behalf of a friend, but i did manage to crank off a couple of test rolls and they are quite stunning, the quality of the Carl Zeiss lenses are truly amazing, bokeh is smooth and creamy, the camera is an absolute joy to use.
Get the fault fixed, or just use and enjoy, either way you will not be disappointed
