Experts argue that these maneuvers are performed when the satellite completes its life cycle and no longer plan to use. On the other hand, in this case it is recommended to transfer the spacecraft above approximately 300 kilometers, to bring the satellites from the zone where the current geostationary satellites. In August 2009 it was announced that the causes of breakage Beidou 1D, because of which an attempt was made to transfer him to a higher orbit, is unknown. So history repeated itself.
