XM360不可能装M1上。
M1的火力足够了,根本用不着换装更大威力的火炮,至少现在来说,美国佬早就制成了140MM,冷战没结束早就换上了,不过现在实在没必要再加强M1的火力了。
:D X360是可以装M1地,到时候的M1可是不一样的了
那个新炮要是搞出来简直无敌了,望大大科普一下[:a10:]
除了XM360还有什么炮吗?

我记得还有款口径大于120的
美军的现实对手没有能和M1系列对等的,潜在对手也很难发生大规模坦克战
360要是真上M1了那让别国坦克怎么活啊,扛个L55炮的豹子干脆挖个坑把自己埋了算了

After studying a number of options, a decision was taken by General Dynamics Land Systems to arm the Mounted Combat System (MCS) element of the US Army's Future Combat System with a 120 mm smooth bore gun designated the XM360.Development started in October 2002 as a joint effort between the US Army Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS), US Army Armament Research Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) and General Dynamics Land Systems.General Dynamics Land Systems and ARDEC Benet Laboratories started a collaborative effort called the Vehicle Dynamic Response Demonstrator (VDRD). This covered the design, development and demonstration of a gun that would meet the requirements of the MCS with a number of key requirements laid down. This became the 120 mm XM360 smoothbore gun.This weapon leverages off Benet Laboratories' considerable experience in weapons development programmes including 105 mm M35 and development 120 mm/140 mm XM291 gun designs. None of these entered the production stage.By December 2003 the first prototype started its firing trials at Aberdeen Proving Ground. This was followed by an Advanced Technology Demonstrator (ATD).The Line-Of-Sight/Beyond Line-Of-Sight (LOS/BLOS) ATD objective was to mature the gun, fire control, ammunition handing and ammunition related technologies.By November 2004 the LOS/BLOS ATD lightweight 120 mm XM360 smoothbore gun had been built and firing trials were underway at Aberdeen Proving Ground.This carried out extensive firing trials with various natures of ammunition including the M829A3 armour piercing fin stabilised discarding sabot at its maximum service temperature.According to the US Army, the XM360

The 120 mm XM360 smoothbore gun incorporates the latest advances in gun technology.It comprises a cannon assembly and gun mount which features advanced material and design solutions to reduce weight, recoil and other vehicle burdens.The breech mechanism is of the electrically operated multi-lug type with barrel being provided with a integral pepperpot muzzle brake to reduce recoil forces.A blast deflector will also be provided to reduce the overpressure vented back towards the MCS. It will also be fitted with a thermal sleeve to reduce environmental effect on the barrel.The gun mount will be provided with a modular recoil mechanism and a fully integrated sensor suite will enable the MCS crew to monitor the status and function of the gun's sub-systems from the crew compartment.Extensive use of ultra high-strength gun steel and lightweight materials such as titanium and composites are employed to reduce weight.The design of the weapon is also modular for maintenance and repair. This allows the crew to change key components such as recoil cylinders and recuperators.While the current 120 mm M256 smoothbore gun installed in the General Dynamics Land Systems M1A1/M1A2 MBT is manually loaded, the 120 mm XM360 smoothbore gun integrated into the MCS will be loaded using an automatic loader with the crew under full armour protection in the chassis for maximum crew survivability.It addition to firing currently deployed, 120 mm rounds of ammunition used in the M1A1 and M1A2 MBTs the XM360 120 mm lightweight smoothbore gun will also fire new types of ammunition.This

Despite the naysaying of recent GAO reports, the U.S. Army is moving full steam ahead with its Future Combat Systems (FCS) program. The service is in the process of spiraling out a variety of capabilities, and I got to see one of them on Friday, March 14, at Aberdeen Test Center in Aberdeen, Maryland: the XM360 gun.
The gun is the primary weapon on the Mounted Combat System, providing Beyond Line-of-Sight (BLOS) capability up to 12 kilometers, 8 kilometers when the vehicle is moving. The 120 mm gun is a lightweight, compact design, weighing over 2,000 lbs less than the gun currently on the Abrams tank. According to officials at Aberdeen, there has been talk of mounting this gun on the Abrams too.

The gun is the only one of its kind in the world – the bore is made of high-strength steel and wrapped in composite. The crew operates the gun remotely, from inside a vehicle called the XM1202 Mounted Combat System (MCS), one of eight Manned Ground Vehicle (MGV) variants planned for the FCS arsenal. The system will have 27 ready rounds, enormous bullets loaded into a carousel and ready to fire on command.

Here’s a rundown of the entire system. Right now, the Army is in a component maturation phase, with the advanced fire inhibit system, ammunition data link, electric gun turret drive and dynamic muzzle reference sensor all preparing for integration onto the gun itself. That process will occur this summer in Shelby, Michigan. The turret structure is the base of the gun, onto which the fire control sub-system, primary weapon assembly and ammunition handling system are loaded. Finally, the turret is plugged into the mission module on top of the tank.

But let’s get to the fun stuff. Firing the weapon.

Once we (I traveled to Aberdeen with three other defense journos) got a full brief on how the weapon works, we were escorted into a concrete bunker maybe 25 yards behind the back of the gun. We sat in front of several large screens and waited for the countdown.

BOOM!

That’s a simplistic description, but it’s fitting. The gun blast shook the building. I’ve never been in a real tank when it’s firing, so I can’t imagine being inside a vehicle when that thing goes off, but it was a huge force, even from yards away in a protected bunker. This particular 120 mm gun, however, is far less powerful (in shock to the vehicle occupants) than the one on the Abrams. Not only does it weigh much less, but it’s built with a high-efficiency muzzle break and titanium recoil rails (and a 23.5-inch recoil cycle). The muzzle of the gun is capped by a muzzle break or “pepperpot” – it’s like a colander, essentially – that also helps dissipate the force of the blast.

现有的XM360样炮上有些技术对有人操作的M1坦克意义不大,但是并不是说它不能用在M1身上,就看米帝在FCS系列服役后还有没有研制40吨左右第四代主战坦克代替现在65吨的M1A2了。
简单的说,XM360与M256相比只是实行了轻型化与自动化,这样对现在的M1确实意义不很大

那当时决定用L44的时候.美国自己有能力研制比这炮更好的炮吗?

还有.未来的炮用什么弹呢?

我看到有什么热溶蛋还是啥?好像也有两种很先进的蛋蛋啊
有能力,但是跟不上进度,费用上又不合算,所以还是用德国的省事;
像m829a3这样的无制导动能炮弹,以后不会搞了。配备xm360的就是先进中程弹药,分atk公司的动能型和雷锡恩公司的化学能型,现前者已经淘汰,后者将成为装备,可以在8公里的射程上精确打击坦克。如果需要直瞄射击,原来m256的弹药都可以使用。
那个啥,米帝虽然富得流油但也不至于拿中程弹当主用弹的程度
怨念啊,ATK玩动能反坦克导弹这么多年了到现在还是成熟不了:(
我一直很喜欢阿连特的MRM-KE的.......
动能反坦克导弹,已经基本成熟了,但是动能反坦克制导炮弹,还有很长地路要走。
XM360的改进主要是在轻量化上,火力其实就是弹药的提高而已。
但米帝再有钱,不至于拿“神箭”当炮兵主力压制炮弹来用,同样XM360不可能主用那个8千米射程的啥新蛋,主要肯定还是用M256的东西。:D

FCS信息化和打击能力都有提高,但防护力上,它把态势感知能力吹上天,我也不觉得它的防护能比实实在在的装甲强,估计T-72的炮都扛不动:(

霉菌的坦克很多时候是当步兵支援炮用的,因为基本上什么货空军都包圆了,陆军定多为空军引导一下目标而已.
就像霉菌没有超音速反舰导弹一样,不是没有研发能力  还是不需要.或者装备的需求不迫切.

12km静止目标,8km移动目标,这得要UAV配合才行
