TEHRAN (FNA)- Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Sharaf Qaleb Luqman disclosed that a large depot of weapons sent by Israel for Saudi Arabia has been destroyed in the Friday Scud missile attacks on Khamis Mushait air base.
"The large stockpile of the weapons sent by the Zionist regime to Saudi Arabia was destroyed during the Yemeni army's missile attack on Khamis Mushait air base," the Arabic-language al-Alam TV quoted General Luqman as saying on Friday.

He reiterated that Saudi Arabia has also sustained heavy losses in the Yemeni missile attacks on Al-Wadi'a and Toufel military bases.

Earlier today, the Yemeni army and popular forces hit a strategic military air base in Asir province in Southern Saudi Arabia with Scud missiles, killing tens of high-ranking Saudi officers and commanders and destroying over two dozen F-15 fighter jets and Apache helicopters.
