中缅建交65周年招待会在仰光举行

6月8日晚，中国驻缅使馆在仰光举办盛大招待会，庆祝中缅建交65周年。缅甸副总统赛茂康、中国驻缅大使杨厚兰等出席了招待会。下面奉上杨大使在招待会中的致辞全文，供研读。

尊敬的各位使节，
尊敬的华人华侨、中资机构代表，
女士们，先生们，朋友们：
今晚我们欢聚一堂，隆重庆祝中缅两国建交65周年。
中缅两国山水相连，友好交往历史悠久，“胞波”情谊深入人心。1950年建交以来，在两国几代领导人的精心培育下，两国友好关系不断拓展、深化，经受风雨考验而历久弥新。拥有深厚积淀的中缅友谊是双方的宝贵财富，也是两国人民的共同福祉。
当前，中缅两国都处在深化改革的重要阶段，友好关系发展面临新形势、新机遇。中国人民正为实现中华民族伟大复兴的“中国梦”而努力奋斗。缅甸稳步推进全面转型，向实现和平、民主、繁荣、开放的现代化国家迈进。我们愿同缅方一道，继承、弘扬、发展和平共处五项原则精神，增进政治互信，深化互利合作，夯实传统友谊，不断充实两国全面战略合作伙伴关系的内涵，共同为推动建立平等互信、包容互鉴、合作共赢的新型国际关系做出努力。
中方坚定支持缅甸走符合本国国情的发展道路，希望缅政治稳定、经济发展、社会和谐的势头将会持续发展。中方相信缅能尽早实现国内和平与民族和解。中方愿在“一带一路”和孟中印缅经济走廊倡议框架下，加强两国务实合作，造福两国民众。中方愿继续加强同缅政党、社会团体、媒体等各界的广泛接触和交流，增进相互理解和信任，携手推进中缅友好事业。
中国有句俗话，“远亲不如近邻”。缅甸朋友也常讲，“朋友可以选择，邻居不可以选择”。中缅两国山水相连，命运相系。让我们携手同行，守望相助，坚持风雨同舟、互信互助的合作传统，不断将中缅全面战略合作伙伴关系推向新高度，共同开创中缅关系更加美好的未来！

YourExcellency Dr. Sai Mauk Kham, Vice President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar,
Distinguishedguests, ladies and gentleman,
Tonight we get together here to celebrate the65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationsbetween the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
China and Myanmar are connected by commonmountains and rivers. The two countries enjoy a long history of friendlyexchanges. The Pauk-Phaw friendship is deeply rooted into the hearts of the twopeoples. Ever since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1950,with the meticulous nurturing of successive leaders of the two countries, the China-Myanmarfriendly relations have been deepened and expanded continuously, which havestood the test of time and remain strong as ever. The China-Myanmar friendshipwith profound accomplishments is a common treasure of the two countries, whichbenefits the two peoples.
At present, China and Myanmar are both at the importantstage of deepening reform and the friendly relations between two countries  are facing new situation and opportunities.The Chinese people are making strenuous efforts to realize the Chinese Dream ofthe rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Myanmar is undergoing a comprehensivereform steadily towards building a modern state that is peaceful, democratic, prosperousand open. China would like to work together with Myanmar, carrying on anddeveloping the spirit of the Five Principles of Peaceful Co-existence, toenhance political mutual trust, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation,consolidate traditional friendship and enrich the substance of theChina-Myanmar Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership to strive for establishingthe new type of international relations featuring equality and mutual trust,inclusiveness and mutual learning, cooperation and win-win.
China firmly supports the path of developmentchosen by Myanmar according to its national conditions. China hopes thatMyanmar keeps the development momentum of political stability, economicdeveloping and society harmony. China believes that Myanmar can realize domesticpeace and national reconciliation as early as possible. China would like to enhancepractical cooperation  with Myanmar underthe framework of “One Road One Belt” and the BCIM initiative to benefit the twopeoples. China would also like to have more contacts and exchanges with Myanmarpolitical parties, civil organizations and media to enhance mutualunderstanding and trust, and jointly promote the cause of the China-Myanmarfriendship.
As an old Chinese saying goes, “a closeneighbor is better than a distant relative”. Myanmar friends also say that “friendscan be chosen, but neighbors cannot”. The destinies of China and Myanmar areclosely connected. Therefore, let us join hands to support each other, stickingtogether through thick and thin and upholding mutual trust and support, to pushforward the China-Myanmar Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership to anew high and create a better future of the China- Myanmar relations.
