Evaluating NASA’s Futuristic EM Drive

A group at NASA’s Johnson Space Center has successfully tested an electromagnetic (EM) propulsion drive in a vacuum – a major breakthrough for a multi-year international effort comprising several competing research teams. Thrust measurements of the EM Drive defy classical physics’ expectations that such a closed (microwave) cavity should be unusable for space propulsion because of the law of conservation of momentum.


这种电磁推进的发动机能够直接把电能转化为推力,不像现有的发动机必须向后喷出介质才能前进,所以看起来是违背动量守恒定律的。好像现在这东西虽然造出来了,但是工作原理还不清楚,是真的违背了动量守恒定律,还是它其实是用什么方式绕过去的...反正不知道...


这个实验英美中以前都搞过,但是以前都没有在高真空下做。


如果这玩意能搞成,感觉离星辰大海更近一部了啊。不用担心火箭里面燃料和推进剂用光了,只要有电就能走。

俄国人 不是早就 试验了 磁力线切割 原理的 卫星发动机么。
看明年拿到多少经费就清楚了
科学家应该学学五角大楼,全都去好莱坞当顾问,经费肯定滚滚而来
如果是电磁推进,肯定需要介质!
