BENGALURU/KOCHI: Though India’s efforts to rescue citizens stranded in war-torn Yemen picked up pace on Monday, the tense wait continued for hundreds. In Aden, about 450km from Yemen’s capital Sana’a, about 550 Indians were waiting to hear about the government’s plan for their evacuation.
Yunus Shabandri, a native of Bhatkal in Karnataka and an employee of a rice trading company, took in a family from Bihar on Sunday.
