BEIJING (Reuters) - China's fight againstdeeply ingrained corruption will never end, the top official in charge oftackling graft said before a meeting intended to clean up business in theworld's second-largest economy.

北京（路透社）——中国针对根深蒂固的反腐斗争永远不会结束，中国反腐高层在一次反腐败会议举行前如是说。

Since President Xi Jinping launched hishigh-profile campaign against corruption upon assuming office last year, seniorofficials including powerful former domestic security chief Zhou Yongkang havebeen removed from their posts and put under investigation.

自Xi去年当选并发起高调的反腐败斗争以来，一些高级官员包括前公安部长周永康都被革职和调查。

"All these efforts have gained thesupport of the general public," said Wang Qishan, who heads the rulingCommunist Party's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

“所有这些努力都获得了民众的支持，”中纪委负责人王岐山如是说。

"This is just the beginning," hesaid, adding that the party's anti-graft campaign requires "consistency,intensified supervision, discipline and accountability".

“这才仅仅是开始，”他说党的反腐败斗争需要“一致性，强化监督，纪律和问责制”。

The campaign for clean government "willnever be concluded", Wang was quoted as saying by the official Xinhua newsagency late on Friday.

The idea of saying that it "will neverend" is actually a good sign. At least that shows some recognition of theproblem. That's WAY better than saying "everything's fine", and thenignoring (or LEGALIZING) corruption. They aren't calling it"lobbying" and turning it into a "cottage industry".

You can't fix a problem until you admit there is a problem, and you certainlydon't fix a problem by making it an accepted part of the institution.

说反腐败斗争永远不会结束，这样的说法其实是好的迹象。至少表明他们承认这个问题的存在。这比说“一切都好”，然后忽视腐败并对其进行合法化好多了。他们没有把这个称为“游说”然后把它变成“家庭手工业”。

Most of them have their children enrolling in private universities inthe US and Europe.It is very clear that none of these people can afford to do that on theirsalaries. It does not take a genius to figure out who is on the take by just acausal look at their life styles.
