A series of explosions in front of Communist Party offices in a northern Chinese province killed one person and wounded eight others Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The blasts occurred around 7:40 a.m. (6:40 p.m. ET Tuesday) in Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi province, police said in a post on Weibo, a Twitter-like microblog platform.
State broadcaster CCTV reported on its Weibo account that several devices exploded in flower bushes in front of the gate of the Shanxi Provincial Communist Party offices. The Communist Party has ruled China for more than 60 years.
The blasts shattered the windows of passing vehicles and shredded some of their tires, CCTV reported. Police have blocked off roads near the scene of the explosions, it said.
At least one of the wounded people is severely hurt, CCTV said, adding that the exact number of casualties remained unclear.
State-run news agency Xinhua reported that steel beads were scattered at the scene.

ensions have been increasing in China. As the economy continues to grow poor and minority groups are being left behind, exploited and sometimes killed due to lack of safety standards that many developed countries have tried to increase. Now the west is not perfect in any of the above situations, China really will have to begin to modify gov. social policy if they want to survive and maintain stability. My hope is we don't see more of this,because senseless innocent indiscriminate activities only polarizes the gov. more and increases national sentiment.

在中国正逐渐增加。随着经济的持续增长贫困和少数民族被留下,剥削和有时死亡由于缺乏安全标准,许多发达国家试图增加。现在西方国家是不完美有以上的情况,中国真的将不得不开始修改州长社会政策如果他们想生存并保持稳定。我希望我们不要看到更多这种,因为毫无意义的无辜的无差别的活动只存在两种极端

I agree about the threats of "religion of peace".However, better not to waste time arguing communists or capitalists, rather everyone be vigilant and aware of Islamist- they don't discriminate whether you are communist or capitalist. Both of you are "infidel" to them.Stay safe good luck
