The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson’s office said the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan was in close contact with Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, Interior Ministry and military to further verify information related to the incident.
The embassy further requested Pakistan to make all efforts to take care of the survivors, apprehend the gunmen behind the attack and guarantee the safety of Chinese citizens in Pakistan.

Now this news really makes my cry. Everyday we try to portrat a positive image of already crumbling society of Pakistan, but then such incidents happen and we are again plunged into hopelessness and desperation.

我们要把巴基斯坦从政教合一的道路上拉出来，才有可能延续友好交往。这是挽救巴基斯坦的未来和中巴关系的前景。不然等他们思想顽固以后，对我们这个异教徒国家是很难长期保持好感的。
