China's transport aircraft Y-20 takes first flight
China on Saturday conducted a successful test flight of its first domestically made jumbo airfreighter.

The Yun-20, or Transport-20, is a huge, multi-function airfreighter which can perform various long-distance air transportation tasks targeting cargo and passengers, Xinhua learnt on Saturday.

The successful maiden flight of Yun-20 is significant in promoting China's economic and national defense buildup as well as bettering its emergency handling such as disaster relief and humanitarian aid.

The giant aircraft will continue to undergo experiments and test flights as scheduled.

上周六中国首架国产大型运输机进行了成功的飞行试验。

星期六新华社记者了解到运20是一个巨大的，多功能运输机的，可以执行各种针对货物和乘客的长途航空运输任务。

Wrong. US Boeing C17, the equivalent to China Yun 20 was launched in 1993. China is 19 years behind, maybe longer if you include in deployment time.

Did you know that Russia has sold the assembly line and 34 Tupolev Backfire bombers to China, along with Complex 22 carrier killers to China?

This is going to be a real game changer and is a real plus for China the TU-22it was a great plane to begin with, but when China is finished with the restoration, it will be much faster, more stealthily and much lighter with new avionics.

It now it now fly's at mac 2.5 with a range of 6800 km.
China military "Cordon Sanitaire" is 1000 miles from the Chinese mainland.

I am really excited about this event, Russia has denied the deal, but then again that's normal for Russia. The plane will be called Hong 10
