SES ASTRA, an SES company, announced in July 2008 that it awarded the construction of a new satellite, Astra 1N, to the European satellite manufacturer Astrium. The spacecraft is scheduled for launch in 2011 and will be positioned at Astra's prime orbital position 19.2 degrees East. It will mainly serve the German, French and Spanish markets, and provide customers with continuous operating and back-up satellite capacity at this key location. ASTRA 1N will have 55 transponders with pan-European coverage, and will operate in the Ku frequency band. Its expected lifetime is 15 years.

ASTRA 1N will be built on a Eurostar-3000 platform, the latest version of Astrium's Eurostar series which has proven to be highly reliable in commercial service.

BSat 3c / JCSAT 110R
(日本商业星,Lockheed Martin A2100平台)

Lockheed Martin has been in December 2008 awarded a contract by the Broadcasting Satellite System Corporation (B-SAT) and SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation (SKY Perfect JSAT) of Japan to build their next geostationary broadcasting and telecommunications satellite. Designated BSAT-3c/JCSAT-110R, the satellite will be launched in the second quarter of 2011 aboard an Ariane-5ECA launch vehicle provided by Arianespace.

BSAT-3c/JCSAT-110R's two independent Ku-band payloads incorporate 12 direct broadcast channels and 12 fixed direct communication channels with uplink and downlink coverage over Japan. The spacecraft will be located at 110 degrees East longitude after delivery in orbit. BSAT-3c/JCSAT-110R is required to meet a 15-year service life and will be designed with over 95% flight-proven components integrated into the highly reliable A2100A platform manufactured by Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems (LMCSS), Newtown, PA.

这次是一颗重型通讯星(Astrium 的 Eurostar-3000平台)加一颗中型通讯星(洛克希德.马丁的A2100平台),这是典型的阿丽亚娜5商业发射方式。
这和前两天毛子的质子发射方式不同,后者由于GTO发射能力较弱,只能发一颗重型星,或者同时发两颗中型星。

TG的长征5服役后,将可以用阿丽亚娜5的方式进行商业发射,降低成本。

PS: 不过质子的价钱还是明显更低,下半年质子的商业通讯星发射还有十几发,而阿丽亚娜5没几发。

阿丽亚娜5需要等2颗卫星,这一点比较麻烦。
感觉阿丽亚娜火箭主要为了养人,同时制衡毛子别把价格提上来。

但是质子号用的是毒推吧。。。
正式的发射日期是26日,与TG的北斗同一天~
