通信卫星上我们落后的确实比较多．成熟的东三平台基本属于淘汰的技术，东四平台也只相当于欧美90年代的水平．特别是太阳能帆板的二次展开瓶颈至今没有什么进展（鑫诺6貌似还是一次展开）．

The 16-story rocket was due to lift off at 2145 GMT (5:45 p.m. EDT), but a final computer check of the Ariane 5's health uncovered a problem that triggered the cutoff of the countdown, according to Jean-Yves Le Gall, Arianespace's chairman and CEO.
Like the space shuttle, the Ariane 5 rocket's core cryogenic main engine ignites seconds before twin solid-fueled boosters, giving computers a chance to gauge the vehicle's health before firing the strap-on motors, which can't be turned off.
Speaking to VIPs gathered inside the Jupiter control room at the Guiana Space Center, Le Gall said engineers and technicians were evaluating the problem a few minutes after the abort was ordered.
"The synchronized sequence went to the end and the cryogenic engine started as planned, but as you know, for seven seconds, the launcher carries out tests and if the tests are not conclusive, the solid boosters do not go ahead," Le Gall said through a translator. "These tests were not conclusive and, therefore, we have an aborted launch. The cryogenic engine has switched off."
The launch team began safing the rocket after the hair-raising abort, and Arianespace said in a statement both of the launcher's communications satellite payloads were secure.

新华网巴黎3月30日电 （记者 舒适）欧洲阿丽亚娜空间公司30日宣布，由于在倒计时阶段发现故障，公司决定推迟发射两颗卫星，新的发射时间将于近期公布。
根据发射计划，这枚本应在巴黎时间30日23时45分至31日零时52分之间在法属圭亚那库鲁航天发射中心发射的阿丽亚娜5型火箭搭载的是阿联酋Al Yah卫星通信公司的Yahsat Y1A型通信卫星和国际通信卫星组织的新拂晓卫星。由于在倒计时的过程中发现了异常情况，本着对客户安全负责的态度，阿丽亚娜空间公司决定取消本次发射，并将尽快公布新的发射日期。
据阿丽亚娜空间公司介绍，Yahsat Y1A通信卫星由欧洲航空防务和航天公司下属的阿斯特里姆空间运输公司和法国泰雷兹·阿莱尼亚航天公司制造，发射质量约6吨，在进入预定轨道后，它将被定位在东经52.5度上空，为中东、非洲、欧洲和亚洲西南地区提供通信服务。

去年美国有类似的一次，6月25日Delta IVM+(4,2)尝试发射GPS IIF SV-1时，倒计时7秒因TVC数据错误紧急中止，RS-68已经在向外放出氢气了，只要再过一刹那，一旦点火发动机就面临报废。
VA201新的发射时间，北京时间2011年4月23日05:37。还有VA202和VA203的发射日期。

The launch, to carry Intelsat’s New Dawn and startup operator Yahsat’s Yahsat 1A telecommunications satellites, has been rescheduled for April 22.
“We have not isolated a single probable cause, but several components attached to the [Vulcain] engine and nozzle did not give the nozzle sufficient freedom of movement. The actuators then center the nozzle,” Le Gall said in an interview. “In this case, the computer found that the nozzle was not moving as it should, and it correctly stopped the ignition.”

With the rollout now completed, the final countdown will begin for Ariane 5’s April 22 liftoff at the start of a launch window that opens at 6:37 p.m. local time in French Guiana and continues until 7:41 p.m.
This will be the second Ariane 5 flight of 2011, with a payload lift performance of nearly 10,065 kg. – which includes a combined mass of 8,965 kg. for the Yahsat Y1A and Intelsat New Dawn spacecraft, plus the launcher’s dual-payload dispenser system and associated integration hardware.
