     近日,2010年美国物理学会会士(APS Fellow)增选揭晓。在2010年新当选的会士中,有25位华人科学家。

     美国物理学会(American Physical Society,APS)成立于1899年,是世界第二大物理学组织,是一个非牟利科教组织,致力通过学术刊物、会议及推广活动,探究并弘扬物理学,在全球约有四万多会员。

    美国物理学会每年增选新会士,人数不超过其会员人数的千分之五。因其严格的遴选程序,其会士称号被视为物理学界的较高荣誉。

科学是无国界的,但是科学家是有国界的。
我很喜欢序列一上的那句话
心情很复杂,想想老一辈人,像钱学森那样是宁愿放弃好环境都要回来搞科研,当然,这里并不是说现在人家怎样怎样,毕竟现在的国情和环境不同,也许在国内的话他们会得不到好的科研环境和资金,人各有志,不可强求,所以说,唉,也只能唉了,没办法,只能靠我们这一代继续努力了
中国优秀的大脑却为美国所用,这难道不是体制问题
听惯了“院士”,“会士”这个名字蛮新鲜的,想起某些“耶稣会”之类宗教团体。
这远视有意义吗?
就算入选的是千分之一好了,那也有2w5了,比SAP认证工程师还多,比CISCO的CCIE牌照拥有着都多,这个含金量有多少?
要是千分之五,那就是125000了,含金量更......
美国也有类似于中国的国家科学院,和国家工程院这样的机构,但不是楼主这个东东
