9月17日，空军副司令员景文春一行在中航工业副总经理谭瑞松的陪同下，到中航工业上电所对重点型号项目研制工作进行调研指导，参加调研的有空军装备部副部长张伟、空装重点型号部部长李凡 、中航工业重大项目部新机办主任刘华翔等。
在上电所所长王国庆、党委书记王金岩等所领导的陪同下，景文春一行现场参观了上电所的科研现场。景副司令员详细了解了航空产品专业技术平台情况，看望慰问了现场工作的科研人员。通过实时更新的电子看板的图文展示，首长从总体上了解到上电所的综合计划、科研、生产、质量四大方面的最新状况，并表示：“上电所数字化看板管理工作做得非常好，体现出较高的管理水平，让人眼前一亮。”
在认真听取了王国庆所长关于上电所重点型号进展情况及新一代航电发展思路的汇报后，景副司令员认为，全所上下精神状态非常好，发展思路非常清晰，特别是围绕重点型号，上电所瞄准前沿、注重创新、组建航电核心专业技术平台提升能力，表现出较好的发展魄力和思路。
景副司令员在讲话中指出，上电所担当了航空装备显示控制领域的龙头角色，成为了空军装备显控技术发展的引领者，多年来为提升空军装备发展和提高部队信息化能力做出了积极的贡献。同时，他希望上电所继续在关键技术、软件工程、装备质量安全等方面继续深挖研究，细化思路，推动发展。

The Institute recently opened a Centre of Excellence in Shanghai known as the Critical Embedded Graphics Technology Lab.
