Has had boom removed and reinstalled multiple times since 2005.

5-8104 (Tanker) MSN 19677 747-131 First flight 9/15/70 from Line 73.
9/26/70 Delivered as N53111 to TWA.
10/15/75 Delivered as N53111 to Boeing for conversion to 747-131(SCD).
11/75 Delivered as 5-283 to the Iranian Air Force.
??/??/?? Registered as 5-8104 for the Iranian Air Force.
5-8104 was operating as Flight 48 from Tehran to McGuire AFB via Madrid on 5/9/76 when it was struck by lightning descending to 5000 feet and vectoring around weather. Aircraft was found in a farm field at 3000 ft MSL with the left wing separated. It was later determined that the lightning entered the front section of the aircraft and was travelling down the wing to the static discharger when it jumped to a rivet, igniting the #1 fuel tank. This caused an oscillation in the outer section of wing, leading to the tip and antenna separating, and later to a failure of the wing.

不过简单想来,加油机越大,续航能力,加油能力越强,空军广大淫民裙中应该喜闻乐见。
可是米帝还是没用这种超级加油机。一定有原因的说。这种超大型奶妈一定有某些弊端让米帝都受不了。。。
那个大佬为我等菜鸟科普一把。。。

不知道TG什么时候能弄出747级别的大灰机呢
加油机大小加油速度有关系。一个加油机之能加2或者1个飞机,所以加油机越大战斗机排队时间就越长,不如采用多架小的比如707系列相同的加油量用的时间就短的多。
想压到它只能靠A380加油机了。
