With this in mind UMTV have jut launched a new album featuring female singers and aimed squarely at the pre-teen female audience. Think slumber parties and singing in the hairbrush and you get the picture. This is Girl Power with a capital G & P. The shocking pink cover just re-enforces this.

The run-down features the likes of Christina, Kylie. Pink, J-Lo, Holly Valance, Hilary Duff and Rachel Stevens. Now you start to get the picture. Upbeat numbers with sing-a-long choruses and dance routines the audience have practised every playtime at school. In all there are 23 girl power tunes to keep the most demanding pre-teen girl happy. And if that wasn抰 enough there is also a bonus DVD included featuring videos of 12 tracks, most of which feature on the CD. The Sugababes track is switched and the very annoying Lolly makes an appearance as well.

So if you are not sure what to get an anti-chocolate girl for Easter you could do a lot worse than invest in pop Princesses ?the Brownie points will be incredible!
