Army units destroyed terrorist hideouts in the neighborhoods of al-Qusuour, al-Qarabis and Jouret al-Shiyah, leaving many terrorists dead, while other units repelled terrorist groups which attempted to sneak into the Teachers Housing area and al-Bayyada neighborhood, destroying the terrorists' weapons and equipment.

The foreign-backed militants have fled to al-Sefsafa, Bab al-Seba’a and al-Warsha neighborhoods after receiving heavy losses in al-Khalidiya and Bab Hud, a Syrian army officer said, adding, the terrorists tried to infiltrate into these areas once again, but the army forces managed to kill them.
The Syrian army forces have simultaneously raided terrorists’ strongholds in Jurat al-Shayyah, al-Hamidiya, al-Qosour and areas in al-Qarabis neighborhood in Homs.
Several terrorists have also been killed during heavy clashes with army forces in al-Hosn, al-Zara and Kfar Laha in Rif Homs.
