Russia and China,which share many of the same international concerns, are looking to fortifytheir strategic partnership.

At a timewhen the neighboring countries are beginning to feel the heat of the USmilitary, it seems only natural that Moscow and Beijing are beginning to plantthe seeds of a long-term strategic relationship.

Xi Jinping, the secretary-general of theChinese Communist Party, underlined his country’s commitment to a Russianpartnership when he noted that he and President Vladimir Putin "came tothe unanimous conclusion” that a “comprehensive strategic partnership” between Moscowand Beijingremains the “top priority of their foreign policy."

NATO, originally declaring its intention tocooperate with Russia on theproject, remains intransigent, while even refusing to provide Moscow with a legal guarantee that the systemwill never be aimed at Russian territory.

You're making the mistake of now confuseingEU with Nato, not all countries in the EU are in Nato (just as not all EUcountries are in the Commonwealth of Nations) and even then european natomembers co-operation has been minimal at best with american wars.. also Ididn't say there wasn't complicity within the EU as stated many polititions inthe EU are too whipped by the americans.. You're making the mistake of now confuseingEU with Nato, not all countries in the EU are in Nato (just as not all EUcountries are in the Commonwealth of Nations) and even then european natomembers co-operation has been minimal at best with american wars.. also Ididn't say there wasn't complicity within the EU as stated many polititions inthe EU are too whipped by the americans..
