Don't be too quick to discount what they have done. They are making phenominal progress and it is much more important to respect it, prepare for it, and not take it for granted. They will be building and operating a lot more, and will gain experience quickly...and they already have in place all the elements for strong CSGs. We underestimated the Japanese prior to WW II...and it cost us badly. I believe the Chinese are going to be stronger than the Japanese ever were.

The acquisition by the Chinese navy happened after that. There should be no breach of law or such when it was turned into a working carrier. Otherwise, Ukrain would start protesting long ago.

Don't be too quick to discount what they have done. They are making phenominal progress and it is much more important to respect it, prepare for it, and not take it for granted. They will be building and operating a lot more, and will gain experience quickly...and they already have in place all the elements for strong CSGs. We underestimated the Japanese prior to WW II...and it cost us badly. I believe the Chinese are going to be stronger than the Japanese ever were.

What this carrier will do is accelerate the aggressive warlike ideas of the Chinese. Anyone can see that they want to be like Americans so bad that they are turning green with envy. Do the words "anti access" mean anything to you? The balance of power will only be restored when China is put in its place and the Liaoning rests in peace at the bottom of the sea.
