Thousands of people in St. James Park, on the fringes of the financial district. Very young on balance and the signs and slogans overwhelmingly anti-capitalist. Tents are springing up, including a medical center. The movement is less diverse than it needs to be, but there are nonetheless many people of colour, indigenous activists with flags, queer activists, handfuls of union flags, and sprinklings of older folks. Most importantly, the reach is far beyond that of the established Left. And there is something very uplifting about watching a couple of hundred young people dancing to drums and chanting, "REVOLUTION!"
