Fukushima Radioactive Traces Found In Glasgow

They are described as "extremely low" and the Scottish Government has told Sky News there is no threat to public health.
Traces of radioactive iodine 131 were picked up on Friday by an air sampler which is located in the city.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (Sepa) said the value of the sample is extremely low and consistent with similar reports from other European countries such as Iceland and Switzerland.
Public health agencies and SEPA are carefully monitoring the situation and have reported no public health risk.
Scottish Government statement
Dr James Gemmill, Sepa's radioactive substances manager, said: "The concentration of iodine detected is extremely low and is not of concern for the public or the environment.
"The fact that such a low concentration of this radionuclide was detected demonstrates how effective the surveillance programme for radioactive substances is in the UK.
"Sepa has an ongoing comprehensive monitoring programme for radioactivity in Scotland and has increased the level of scrutiny to provide ongoing public assurance during this period."
The UK's system for detecting radioactive fall-out from incidents overseas is based on the collection of data from 92 monitoring sites around the country.
Air samples are checked every hour and the data is then checked by the Met Office in London for any abnormal radiation readings.
In a statement, the Scottish Government said:"The concentration of iodine detected is extremely low. Public health agencies and Sepa are carefully monitoring the situation and have reported no public health risk.
"This development does underline the intercontinental ramnifications of the nuclear incident in Japan."
None of the bodies dealing with the situation have issued any specific advice to the public in the wake of the discovery.
