(陶杰是)"爱国作家”？ - 闾丘露薇

刚刚过去的星期天,上千名在香港的菲律宾佣工行游表威到政府总部,要求专栏作家陶杰为他在文章中那句"僕人国家"道歉.

仔细看过陶杰的文章,也请教过身边的西方朋友,大家觉得只不过陶杰一贯的文笔,嘲笑的不是菲律宾人,而是那些自认为很爱国的中国人,拿菲律宾佣工来当托,只不过谁也没有想到,对方的反应如此激烈,要上升到限制入境的局面.也许是因为香港已经回归，菲律宾政府要给这个他们眼中的“爱国作家”一点颜色，醉翁之意不在酒。

在这里不討论,是陶杰到底骨子里面歧视那些家庭佣工,还是菲律宾人和政府缺乏幽默感,或者缺乏对言论自由的包容心態,倒是想討论一下华人社会对陶杰这篇文章引发的后果的反应.

因为谈到南沙问题,並且把菲律宾人称为"僕人国家",加上菲律宾政府配合,宣布限制入境,马上帮助陶杰,被定义为"爱国作家".不过相信这让很多定义自己"爱国",一直看不惯陶杰"卖国"的人很不是滋味.就在今年的报纸上,还有专栏作者这样批评陶杰,"人必自侮而后人侮之」，陶杰长期靠侮辱自己的国家、民族、文化来卖弄其「文笔」和换取丰裕生活，吹捧英国文化、「大和魂」精神，不惜双膝发软、五体投地，本人对此还沾沾自喜、洋洋自得，旁人则早已视之为笑柄与丑类了，如今，由「僕人国家」出手来教训教训，教导「才子」什么叫做尊重与自重，「才子」应实公开道歉和感谢才是。"

不过,现在如果陶杰道歉,肯定会有很多的爱国青年不答应了.只是看到一个"爱国作家"就这样诞生了,有点让人哭笑不得.不过我是陶才子的忠实读者，只不过看得多了，偶尔觉得他有一稿多投的嫌疑，不过他中西文化的贯通，还是令人钦佩，因为这次事件能够让多一些人读他的文章，而不是钦佩于他们认为的“爱国”行为，到也是一个意外收获。

到底有没有侮辱了菲律宾人,到底是不是爱国作家,下面是他惹祸的英文全文:

The Russians sank a Hong Kong freighter last month, killing the seven Chinese seamen on board. We can live with that—Lenin and Stalin were once the ideological mentors of all Chinese people. The Japanese planted a flag on Diàoyú Island. That’s no big problem—we Hong Kong Chinese love Japanese cartoons, Hello Kitty, and shopping in Shinjuku, let alone our round-the-clock obsession with karaoke.

But hold on—even the Filipinos? Manila has just claimed sovereignty over the scattered rocks in the South China Sea called the Spratly Islands, complete with a blatant threat from its congress to send gunboats to the South China Sea to defend the islands from China if necessary. This is beyond reproach. The reason: there are more than 130,000 Filipina maids working as $3,580-a-month cheap labor in Hong Kong. As a nation of servants, you don’t flex your muscles at your master, from whom you earn most of your bread and butter.

As a patriotic Chinese man, the news has made my blood boil. I summoned Louisa, my domestic assistant who holds a degree in international politics from the University of Manila, hung a map on the wall, and gave her a harsh lecture. I sternly warned her that if she wants her wages increased next year, she had better tell every one of her compatriots in Statue Square on Sunday that the entirety of the Spratly Islands belongs to China.

Grimly, I told her that if war breaks out between the Philippines and China, I would have to end her employment and send her straight home, because I would not risk the crime of treason for sponsoring an enemy of the state by paying her to wash my toilet and clean my windows 16 hours a day. With that money, she would pay taxes to her government, and they would fund a navy to invade our motherland and deeply hurt my feelings.

Oh yes. The government of the Philippines would certainly be wrong if they think we Chinese are prepared to swallow their insult and sit back and lose a Falkland Islands War in the Far East. They may have Barack Obama and the hawkish American military behind them, but we have a hostage in each of our homes in the Mid-Levels or higher. Some of my friends told me they have already declared a state of emergency at home. Their maids have been made to shout “China, Madam/Sir” loudly whenever they hear the word “Spratly.” They say the indoctrination is working as wonderfully as when we used to shout, “Long live Chairman Mao!” at the sight of a portrait of our Great Leader during the Cultural Revolution. I’m not sure if that’s going a bit too far, at least for the time being.

「 我 已 经 採 取 了 相 应 措 施 ， 」 国 难 当 前 ， 至 紧 要沉 着 ， 我 说 ： 「 自 菲 律 宾 挑 衅之 日 起 ， 我 已 经 对 家 里 的 菲 佣 ， 训 话 半 小 时 ， 上 地 理课 ， 除 了 申 明 南 沙 群 岛 的主 权 ， 还 着 令 她 星 期 天 去 皇 后 广 场 坐 在 地 上 跟 一 眾 姐 妹 啃鸡 腿 的 时 候 ， 把 中 国人 民 对 菲 律 宾 的 愤 怒 ， 广 泛 传 达 出 去 。 香 港 人 爱 国 有 责 ， 师 奶护 土 也 有 责 ， 每次 批 准 你 家 的 菲 佣 上 厕 所 前 ， 必 须 大 声 斥 问 ： 南 沙 群 岛 是 哪 一 国 领土 ？ 非 要 那位 Maria 高 声 答 ： China, Madam! 才 准 她 解 决 。 」

「但 香 港 的 司 法 ， 不 幸 还 由 港 英 余 孽 把 持 着 ， 他 们 不 会 配 合 香 港 僱 主 的 爱 国 行动 的 ，」 我 沉 吟 ： 「 菲 佣 说 南 沙 群 岛 是 她 的 ， 你 用 热 熨 斗 烫 她 的 嘴 ， 申 张 民 族大 义 ， 不 是不 可 以 ， 但 律 政 司 会 控 告 你 伤 人 ， 法 官 夏 正 民 之 类 ， 会 与 美 国 暗 相呼 应 ， 重 判 我 们香 港 师 奶 同 胞 入 狱 的 。 」
「 到 底 是 香 港 人 ， 」 × 君 说 ： 「 就 是 畏 首 畏 尾 ， 跟煲 呔 一 个 样 。 行 政 、 立 法 、司 法 ， 要 互 相 支 持 ， 为 国 家 主 权 服 务 ， 这 是 大 原 则 嘛 。」 我 听 了 ， 低 头 不 语 ，政 治 太 复 杂 了 ， 我 们 香 港 人 不 懂 。
但 如 果 菲 律 宾 政 府派 海 军 在 南 沙 插 了 旗 ， 香 港 僱 主 非 礼 菲 佣 的 个 案 ， 可 能 理 直气 壮 地 大 增 。 「 你 偷 鸡了 我 一 把 ， 我 也 那 么 狗 摸 你 一 下 ， 为 什 么 不 可 以 ？ 」 × 君 说 ， 仰 首 大 笑 ， 我 也 在 一旁 陪 笑 ！ 哈 哈 ， 哈 哈 哈 ─ ─ 高 官 们 ， 听 到 了 没 有 ？这 就 是 民 意 了 。
