Frozen的FB宣布了，迪士尼正在制作Frozen 2。
It’s of-f-f-f-f-icial: “Frozen 2” is in development at Walt Disney Animation Studios with directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee and producer Peter Del Vecho, the Oscar-winning filmmaking team behind “Frozen.”
The news was announced at Disney’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders this morning by Bob Iger, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company; John Lasseter, Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios; and actor Josh Gad, who provides the voice of Olaf from “Frozen.” A release date and production details are on ice for now.

A Frozen sequel will indeed cast its chilly spell over audiences: Disney has confirmed that Frozen 2 is officially on its way. According to the studio, Frozen directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are developing the film along with producer Peter Del Vecho.
The news was announced Thursday by Disney CEO Bob Iger, Disney and Pixar Animation Studios chief creative officer John Lasseter, and Josh Gad, the voice of Frozen’s snowy sidekick Olaf, during a Disney shareholders meeting. “We enjoyed making ‘Frozen Fever’ so much, and being back in that world with those characters,” Lasseter said, according to Disney. “Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel, and you will be hearing a lot more about it. And we’re taking you back to Arendelle. We are so excited about that.”
News that there will be a sequel for what became the highest-grossing animated film of all time isn’t exactly surprising; hints about its existence have come previously from the likes of star Idina Menzel.
More Frozen is also hitting theaters this weekend in the form of “Frozen Fever,” a short that plays before Disney’s Cinderella. Meanwhile, an adaptation of the first movie is also headed to the stage, with songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez returning to flesh out the score, and director and screenwriter Jennifer Lee working on the book.

这种票房大卖的片是肯定要出续集的，何况对于迪士尼来说，动画的利润可不仅仅是票房（确切说，挣大钱的是周边，这个片可以被视为金库，迪士尼是必定不会放弃的）
