While UCWeb claims it has over 400 million users in 150 countries, majority of them are in China and India. The browser features a modern and easy-to-use interface as well as features like caching of videos for offline view. This helps users who have slower data connection in their phones. It won the 'best browser of the year' from About.com, a popular website, in 2011 and 2012.
In March this year, UCWeb announced that it registered a 60 times growth in India in the last three years.

The most intelligent comments so far. Sometimes we have to admit that the Chinese are here to stay. The only way to beat them is to produce a product which is better than them. I beginning to suspect that the Chinese IT industries is much mature and sophisticated as we know since they have almost all equivalent of goggle, facebook, twitter, youtube etc. It is a copy but kudos to them. No point to re-invent the wheels. Everyone copied from each other, just have to make it better than the rest to stay on top.

I beginning to suspect that the Chinese IT industries is much mature and sophisticated as we know since they have almost all equivalent of goggle, facebook, twitter, youtube etc. It is a copy but kudos to them. No point to re-invent the wheels. Everyone copied from each other, just have to make it better than the rest to stay on top.

我还是比较喜欢Opera，比较轻巧，uc感觉累赘了
从JAVA时代就一直用UC，也尝试过其他的，最后还是觉得UC好用。好用无国界啊三哥
从塞班到安卓，一直用UC。
一直对UC不感冒，还是自带的浏览器好用
Opera mobile 比UC好用，不过就是视频和支付功能不好！
用UC也来回复一下。真心觉得不错。而且功能越来越丰富且不累赘。

中国IT丝毫不比他们差，问题是西方媒体看不懂，不知道...淘宝的平台甩eBay那个陈年cgi几条街，但是美国人看不懂啊。
