im half british nd half american but i admire the soviets. they lost millions in the war and drove the germans back to berlin, they advanced so quckly yet they paid for every inch with blood sweat and tears. stalin could have done it with fewer deaths yet it was the soviet manpower that defeated the superior german technology

The song is heroic! Poland catured 1 mnth. France in 2 months. The British navy sunk, with only RAF giving fight. The Soviets were on the border of taking Germany by 1944 & the US didn't enter the war up to 1943 with Western front. Meantime, the Eastern front was already fully won. Hurray to the soliders of all nations that perished in this war, but especially to the Soviet Red Army that beat the forces of evil and Nazi Germany. Without the Red Army, there would be no free Europe of today.

I dont see Russians or Chinese as my enemies at all, I'm from Canada and my only enemy at this time is the taliban and anyone else who attacks my countris sodliers... last time I checked our countires were allies. nice video. As an American I can honestly say that I miss the Soviet Union... I never thought I'd hear myself say that. But at least back then things were simpler, and the world was divided into two camps of rationally minded people. I miss facing off against a capable, honorable foe rather than psychotic terrorists

@aragorn1780 Yes it does. Germany made a big big mistake. You can fix it. Russia should be Germany's friend. Noble Stalin knew this. Combine also with China, Russia's old Communist friend. You Germans have great Communist connections though the old DDR. Use it. The last piece in the puzlle is Canada. Use Russia to gain friendship with them. Germans in WW2 knew Canada was great. With Germany technology, Russian bravery, Chinese intelligence and Canadian territory, you will be strong again.

The song is heroic! Poland catured 1 mnth. France in 2 months. The British navy sunk, with only RAF giving fight. The Soviets were on the border of taking Germany by 1944 & the US didn't enter the war up to 1943 with Western front. Meantime, the Eastern front was already fully won. Hurray to the soliders of all nations that perished in this war, but especially to the Soviet Red Army that beat the forces of evil and Nazi Germany. Without the Red Army, there would be no free Europe of today.

I dont see Russians or Chinese as my enemies at all, I'm from Canada and my only enemy at this time is the taliban and anyone else who attacks my countris sodliers... last time I checked our countires were allies. I have lots of friedns who are Russian and Chinese... lol and the media over here mentions absolutly nothing negative about Russia or China. Oh yeah, and our churchs never teach anything about politics... I don't know where you got your information from about the west but its flawed

nice video. As an American I can honestly say that I miss the Soviet Union... I never thought I'd hear myself say that. But at least back then things were simpler, and the world was divided into two camps of rationally minded people. I miss facing off against a capable, honorable foe rather than psychotic terrorists

Terrorists certainly existed in Cold War (Carlos the Jackal, the PLO attack on 1972 Munich Olympics, the PFLP's 1970 hijackings).

The difference is that back then no one cared. Now that America has no real enemies left, it has to exaggerate these few crazy Arabs and a couple of failed governments into the next Axis powers.

The worst part is that because we've given these idiots all the attention they wanted, they've become bolder to attack.

I can't believe I admire this song so much... especially considering that the battles this song honors is where my German granduncle died (puts me in a bit of a tacky situation eh?)

@aragorn1780 Yes it does. Germany made a big big mistake. You can fix it. Russia should be Germany's friend. Noble Stalin knew this. Combine also with China, Russia's old Communist friend. You Germans have great Communist connections though the old DDR. Use it. The last piece in the puzlle is Canada. Use Russia to gain friendship with them. Germans in WW2 knew Canada was great. With Germany technology, Russian bravery, Chinese intelligence and Canadian territory, you will be strong again.
