Concept of Use – Modelled on the wet weather boot, the this new combat boot, compatible with new sock system is designed to be worn from +10°C to +35°C.

Description – High-speed lacing design based on Wet Weather Boot; trials are focusing on determining soldiers’ preference for material combination (all-leather or leather/textile uppers), colour configuration (desert tan, black, or olive green), and air ventilation grommets (grommets or no grommets). Other features (outsole/mid-sole combination, padded collar, and speedlacing) have been determined by extensive trials completed on the Wet Weather Boot.

Weight – Less than 1120 grams per boot for the regular/medium size (size 265/104).

Size Range – 72 sizes in a maximum of five widths: from Mondopoint 225/92 to Mondopoint 300/114 (Increments between sizes shall be 5 mm and widths shall be 4 mm).
