I listed all the cuisines I have had extensive experience in in either cooking professionally or dining.
As for Chinese: I prefer Hokkien or Hakka style, and eat it almost daily.
Also: I had to tick "Indonesian" as there was no Malay, although they are close but not that close....it's like saying Austrian and Bavarian is distinctive from one another.

Being a Briton living in England, I pretty much almost always cook English food for myself because it is easy to cook and I know how to cook it. Minimum hassle involved and some of it can be well nice.
For example I love English breakfasts, or smoked haddock, or roast sirloin steak with mushrooms and onions.
But I guess my favourite food of all, and what I most enjoy eating as takeaway, is Chinese food. It is what I eat when I especially want to treat myself. And it is therefore what I voted for on this poll, though English food would have been my second choice.

I think this is like arguing about the best beer; I'm unaware of any objective method of measurement. In my opinion,there is no such thing as the best cuisine.
Badly prepared french food is ghastly,and standard English stodge such as say fish and chips or steak and kidney pie well prepared are both sublime.
The consistently best food I've ever eaten is Chinese, in China.

Anything that's well prepared with good ingredients can please my tastebuds and satisfy my appetite. I voted for all "cuisines" i have tried one or more dishes from.
Except English and German. I really have to resist making a joke about the use of either word and "cuisine" in the same sentence, but i realize it is outdated. There are great chefs in both countries... But German cuisine makes me think of brädwursten and sauerkraut and English cuisine makes me think on those awful breakfast restaurants on the way from London to the Lake District.
Apparently i'm the only one so far who has enjoyed West African cuisine. Maniok dishes like Ace Keh with baked bananas and hot chili peppers (the small round ones...) accompanied with chicken, fish and or beef... I make that on birthdays!

Being a Briton living in England, I pretty much almost always cook English food for myself because it is easy to cook and I know how to cook it. Minimum hassle involved and some of it can be well nice.
For example I love English breakfasts, or smoked haddock, or roast sirloin steak with mushrooms and onions.
But I guess my favourite food of all, and what I most enjoy eating as takeaway, is Chinese food. It is what I eat when I especially want to treat myself. And it is therefore what I voted for on this poll, though English food would have been my second choice.

Ratatouille (sauteed eggplant, tomatoes, onions, peppers and zucchini)
Bouillabaisse (fish stew)

Boefe bourguignon (beef in red wine with beef broth, garlic, tiny onions and herbs)

I think this is like arguing about the best beer; I'm unaware of any objective method of measurement. In my opinion,there is no such thing as the best cuisine.
Badly prepared french food is ghastly,and standard English stodge such as say fish and chips or steak and kidney pie well prepared are both sublime.
The consistently best food I've ever eaten is Chinese, in China.

Anything that's well prepared with good ingredients can please my tastebuds and satisfy my appetite. I voted for all "cuisines" i have tried one or more dishes from.
Except English and German. I really have to resist making a joke about the use of either word and "cuisine" in the same sentence, but i realize it is outdated. There are great chefs in both countries... But German cuisine makes me think of brädwursten and sauerkraut and English cuisine makes me think on those awful breakfast restaurants on the way from London to the Lake District.
Apparently i'm the only one so far who has enjoyed West African cuisine. Maniok dishes like Ace Keh with baked bananas and hot chili peppers (the small round ones...) accompanied with chicken, fish and or beef... I make that on birthdays!

只要是用上好食材、精心烹制过的食物，都会让我的味蕾得到充分的享受。因此但凡我吃过的所有美食，我几乎都投了一票。
