Bangalore-based National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), under the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, has just completed a feasibility study on design and development of the regional transport aircraft.
The study was carried out under the guidance of a High Powered Committee, chaired by former Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) chairman G Madhavan Nair.
According to NAL sources, the aircraft would help connect Tier-II and Tier-III cities in the country with the major metros, thereby boosting inclusive economic growth of India.
The feasibility report concluded that there is a market potential for a 70-to-100 seat regional transport aircraft. The baseline design is a 90-seat twin turbofan engine powered aircraft. The estimated cost of the project is Rs75.55 billion (design and development phase— Rs43.55 billion, and series production phase Rs32 billion), they said.

看看达索公司参不参一腿了，弄不好就是个调鱼工程。

这个飞机进气怎么办？这样的布局不会严重进气不足，导致动力损失吗？普惠PT6不是BT的新舟60所用的发动机吗？为什么我们的飞机可以乘坐60人，这个飞机只能够坐14人呢？是不是发动机布局的原因？话说这样的布局也没什么特别重大的优势，只能够作为公务机减少机舱中部枢纽人物能够听到的噪音而已。但是机尾的人要悲剧啊！
